ABOUT GENEVIEVE

Genevieve is a multimedia journalist based in Paris, France.

She currently covers France and French politics for The Local Europe, where she has reported on snap parliamentary elections and pensions protests, untangled complicated tax rules for Americans abroad, and deciphered why the French are drinking less wine. She is also a co-host of the Talking France podcast.

Genevieve holds master's degrees in International Affairs and Journalism from Sciences Po in Paris. She has a BA in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park, where she also studied French and International Development.

Genevieve is a native English speaker and she is fluent in French. Howard County, Maryland is her home.
